The brief
Harbor & Co. won awards but lost commissions to studios with better websites. Their portfolio lived in PDF decks that nobody opened twice. The brief: a site that carries the weight of built work — and brings in the right clients, not more clients.
The approach
We stripped the site to structure, light, and sequence — the same materials the studio designs with. Full-bleed photography, a strict typographic grid, and case pages organised the way architects present: context, constraint, resolution. We directed a two-day reshoot of the six flagship projects.
The outcome
Qualified inquiries more than doubled, and the average visit now lasts four and a half minutes. Nine projects have since been picked up by press directly from the site’s case pages.
